Colleen Bing and Steve Greathouse, both of Spencer, were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 6 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Spencer. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Father David Glockner.
The bride wore a white, floor length fitted gown with an off the shoulder flower-accented neckline and veil and carried a bouquet of white flowers with greenery. She was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Stan Pearce of Lewiston, N.Y., and her nephew, Mike Zimmerman of Grand Island, N.Y., who also served as groomsman.
Matron of honor was Patsy Welsh of Spencer and bridesmaids were Trina Satterfield of Spencer and Leigha Bing, daughter of the bride. The flower girl was Vanessa Ash, great-niece of the groom.
The best man was Ben Greathouse, nephew of the groom, of Spencer. Aaron Atkinson, son of Todd and Susan Cain, served as a groomsman and John Ash, great-nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Music was provided by Myridia and Marvella Boggs, daughters of Jeff and Raveena Boggs, and Chris Williams, son of Don and Pat Williams, all of Spencer.
An evening reception took place at the Carol Stewart residence.
The bride is the daughter of Louise Pearce of Niagra Falls, N.Y., who was present, and the late William Pearce. The groom is the son of Roy Greathouse of Ohio and the late Patricia Greathouse.
The groom is the manager of Queen Bee Restaurant and the bride is self-employed. Following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the newlyweds reside in Spencer.
